The Karnes City Lady Badgers coasted to an easy win in the Bulldog Relays Saturday, scoring nearly twice as many points as their nearest competitors.
The ladies rolled up 140 points with Freer coming in a distant second with 80 points. Falls City won third place with 66 points.
Setting the pace for Karnes City was Robin Garcez who won first place in the 800 and 1600 meters. In the 1600, Garcez took the lead early and by the final lap had built a margin of over 100 yards. She won with a time of 5:42.84.

Gabby Mika placed third in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.69 and third in the triple jump with a leap of 32-0.
Falls City managed to win third despite being short-handed and just getting into the swing of things following a long and successful basketball season.
Jacy Gibson won first in the discus (94-4) and third in the shot put with a throw of 32-feet-10 1/4.
Kaitlyn Jendrusch placed second in the shot put with a throw of 33-feet-7 1/4.
Hatti Foster placed second in the high jump, clearing 4-foot-10.
The Badger boys took first place in the 800-meter relay with a time of 1:37.14 and second place in the 400 meter relay with a time of 45.43.
Kenneth Glenn placed second in the 200 meters with a time of 23.45.
The Falls City Beavers claimed first and second place in the pole vault with Kirchhoff clearing 11 feet and Mynier placing second with a vault of 10 feet.
The trio of Olinick, Kirchhoff and Lyssy took first, second and third place in the 100-meter hurdles.
"It was a good starting point for the first meet of the year," Beaver coach Todd Pawelek said.
