Steve Mixon, 48, of Three Rivers, Texas passed away September 18, 2009 at Christus Spohn Hospital Shoreline. He was born June 29, 1961 in Karnes City, Texas to Cecil Mixon and Jackie Gideon.
Mr. Mixon was a Baptist by faith and a carpenter.
Survivors include his sons: Billy (Brandi) Mixon of Corpus Christi and Michael Mixon of Three Rivers; father Cecil Mixon and his wife Maona of Karnes City; sister Kim (David) Strause of George West, Texas; brothers Tracy (Linnie) Mixon of Three Rivers and James (Carrie) Mixon of George West and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Gideon.
Visitation was held Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 at the First Baptist Church.Funeral services were held Monday, September 21, 2009, at the First Baptist Church, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bruce Irving officiating.
Burial was in the Kenedy Cemetery. Pallbearers were Adam Strause, Tracy Mixon Sr., Bill Mixon, John Mixon, Kenneth Wiggins and David Henke.
