Felis Reyna, age 79, of Karnes City, TX, passed away, Tuesday Oct. 20, 2009, in Belton, MO. She has lived in Belton, MO, with her family the past five years moving from Karnes City where she had lived most of her life. Felis was born, May 2, 1930, in Yorktown, TX, to Jose Garcia and Catarina Rodriguez Garcia. She married Johnny S. Reyna Sr. on June 19, 1947 in Karnes City. She was a devout member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City. She is survived by her husband Johnny S. Reyna Sr. of Karnes City; sons Jimmy Reyna and wife Minga of Goodland, KS, and Johnny Reyna Jr. and wife Roseann of Belton, MO; daughters Felicia Sanchez and husband Ruben of Poth, TX, Lupe Barrera and husband Vidal of Belton, MO, Sylvia Barrera and husband Alberto of Belton MO, Yolanda Reyna of Belton, MO, Jenny Ramos and husband Julio of San Antonio, and Lilly Smith of Karnes City; sisters Lori Fonseca of Brownfield TX, Juanita Gonzales of Brownfield, TX, and Carolina Cantu of Lubbock TX. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, eighty-four great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; infant children Jose and Yolanda Reyna; brothers Jimmy Garcia, Roman Garcia, Trinidad Garcia and Marcus Garcia; sisters Josefina Dominguez and Lela Nuncio. A Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM, Friday, October 23, 2009 at Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel in Karnes City. A funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 24, 2009 at St Cornelius Catholic Church in Karnes City. Interment followed in the Karnes City Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers were Chris Reyna, Richard Franco, Mark Barrera, Sonny Barrera, Isaac Garcia, Marcus Gonzales, Jr. Johnny Reyna III, and James Reyna. Services were entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home, Inc. Karnes City-Runge. 800-780-3334
