Jovita Rodriguez, 71, of Runge, Texas died Monday Nov. 16, 2009. She was born Sept. 24, 1938 in Karnes County, TX to the late Guillermo and Berta Reyes Granado.
She is survived by her husband Gabriel Rodriguez, sons Oscar Rodriguez, Henry Rodriguez and Adam Rodriguez, daughters Connie Leal, Irene Altamirano, Alice Garcia and Virginia Lara, brothers Domingo Granado, Eulogio Granado, and Selestino Granado and sister Dolores Sifuentes and 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister and one brother.
A rosary was held 7:30 pm Wednesday Nov 18, 2009 at Finch Funeral Chapel. The funeral mass was Thursday Nov. 19, 2009, at 10:00 am, at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Choate Cemetery.
