Valerie Weber Sebesta age 80 of Kenedy, Texas formerly of Victoria died November 17, 2009 after a lengthy illness. She was born August 5, 1929 in Victoria County to Gus and Ceclia Heinold Weber.
Her husband, Alfred O. Biediger, Jr., her father, Gus Weber and her son Dennis Wayne Biediger were killed in an auto accident July of 1968. She married B. J. Sebesta, Jr., July 8, 1972 in Victoria. She loved the country life, baking, fishing and her cows. Valerie and BJ were avid dancers and active members of the Beeville Summer Indian Dance Club.
She is survived by her sons, A.O. “Trey” (Geralyn) Biediger of Victoria, Ken (Pennie) Biediger of Richmond, Robert Thomas (Gloria) Biediger of Alvord, Texas. Her stepchildren Bill Sebesta, Charles (Charlotte) Sebesta and Betsy (Ben) Wielde all of San Angelo, Texas; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her parents; sister Alvera Diebel and brother Leonard Weber.
Visitation was held November 19, at Eckols Funeral Home in Kenedy from 6 to 8 p.m.
The funeral service was held November 20, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kenedy.
Pallbearers for the service were: Randy Jurgajtis, Lee Roy Kraatz, Arlan Kraatz, Delmer Jaschke, Charles Sebesta and Thaddaeus Biediger.
Graveside services followed at 2 p.m. at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Victoria.
Memorials may be made to Nurses in Touch Hospice or donor’s choice.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Eckols Funeral Home, Kenedy.
