Bobby C. Shaw, age 63, of Kenedy and Tuleta, TX went to his final rest on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Floresville Nursing Rehab Center.  Mr. Shaw was born, September 10, 1946 in Beeville, TX, to Grace Moses Terry and Jesse A. Shaw.  He was married to his wife Jane Melvin on October 26, 1965 in Karnes City Texas. The Shaws made their home in Kenedy Texas until their recent move to Tuleta. Mr. Shaw was a member of the Baptist Church, a veteran of the US Army, and a Correctional Officer for TDJC. 
He is survived by his mother Grace Moses Terry of Kenedy, TX; wife Jane Shaw of Tuleta, TX; daughter Nancy (Shaw) Bronder of Falls City, TX and son John Shaw of Victoria, TX; and three grandchildren of Falls City, TX.  He is preceded in death by his father Jesse A. Shaw, Sr., Brother Jesse Shaw, Jr., and son Bobby Clayton Shaw, Jr.
Visitation was held Friday, November 27 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Eckols Chapel.  The funeral service was Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 am at Harmony Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Allen officiating. Interment followed in the Harmony Cemetery in Karnes County. Pallbearers were Jesse Montez, Leslie Riley, Allen Brown, Gary Wiesen, Mark Melvin, and Jason Lee Williams. Memorial contributions can be made to the South Texas Children’s Home.
