John Ray Jaskinia, age 44, of Falls City, TX, passed away Friday November 27, 2009. John was born, December 18, 1964 in San Antonio, TX, to Fred Jaskinia and Florence Waclawczyk Jaskinia. He was a 1983 Graduate of Falls City High School, member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cestohowa Men’s Club, and Knights of Columbus. He was married to Michelle Dziuk on January 19, 1991 in Poth, TX. John was an Electrical Underground Foreman for CPS Energy in San Antonio, TX.
He is survived by his mother Florence Jaskinia of Cestohowa, TX; wife Michelle Jaskinia of Falls City, TX; daughter Addison Michelle Jaskinia, and sons Dayton John Jaskinia, and Trenton Michael Jaskinia of Falls City, TX; brothers Alvin and wife Kathy Jaskinia, and Timothy and wife Bonnie Jaskinia of Floresville, TX; Father and Mother In-Law Edwin and Theresa Dziuk of Poth, TX; Brothers and Sisters In-law Larry and Patricia Dziuk of Beeville, TX, Diane and Johnny Moy of Pawelekville, TX, Edwin and Brenda Dziuk of Poth, TX, numerous nieces and nephews; and goddaughters Amanda Pruski of Falls City, and Kinlee and Layla Ramon of Beeville, TX. He is preceded in death by his father Fred Jaskinia of Floresville, TX.
Visitation will begin at 5 PM, Monday November 30, 2009 at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Cestohowa with a rosary being recited at 7:30 PM. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday December 1, 2009 at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, with interment following in the Cestohowa Cemetery.
