Jovita Rodriguez, 71, of Runge, Texas died Monday Nov. 16, 2009. She was born Sept. 24, 1938 in Karnes County, TX to the late Guillermo and Berta Reyes Granado. She is survived by her husband Gabriel Rodriguez of Runge, sons Oscar Rodriguez and his wife Corina of Runge, Henry Rodrigues of Arkansas and Adam Rodriguez of Pasadena; daughters Connie Leal and her husband Billy of Runge, Irene Altamirano and her husband Ernest of Pasadena, Alice Garcia and her husband Leonardo Jr. of Runge and Virginia Lara of Runge; brothers Domingo Granado of Crosbyton, Eulogio Granado of Brady, Selestino Granado of Runge; sister Dolores Sifuentes of Lubbock, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother. A rosary was 7:30 pm Wednesday Nov 18, 2009 at Finch Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass was 10:00 am Thursday Nov. 19, 2009 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Choate Cemetery. Pallbearers were Stephen Rodriguez, Adam Rodriguez, Ernest Altamirano Jr. Paco Polio, Sylvester Olveda Jr and Steve Pena.
