Juventino E. Pedroza, Jr., age 36, of El Oso, Texas passed away January 6, 2010 in Seguin, Texas. Mr. Pedroza was born August 19, 1973 in Karnes City, Texas to Juventino and Gloria E. Pedroza. Juventino was never married but was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. He is survived by his parents, Juventino and Gloria E. Pedroza of El Oso, Texas; brothers Roland E. Elizondo of El Oso, Texas and Albert E. Pedroza of San Antonio, Texas; as well as numerous aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Gregorio and Cruz V. Escamilla, and paternal grandparents, Pablo and Eliza M. Pedroza. A rosary was recited Friday, January 8, 2010 at 7:30 pm at Eckols Chapel. The funeral service took place Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 12:00, noon, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Father Richard Zielinski officiated. Interment followed at De Ntra Sra De Guadalupe Cemetery in Pawnee, Texas. Pallbearers were Edelmiro Escamilla, Jr., Enrique Ramos, Jr., Jimmy Villarreal, Rudy Elizondo, Johnny Gonzales, Rolando Escamilla, Juan Pablo Ramos, and Javier Villarreal; honorary pallbearers were John Paul Dorsey and Mauro Frias.
