Without borders

Folks, if you are anything like I am, you get disturbed hearing and seeing all the terrible things that are happening around the world.

I realize these things go on and must be reported. Never the less, I really enjoy hearing and seeing some of the good things that are happening because good people care!

The other day I watched "Doctors Without Borders" as they gave shots and medical care to people in different parts of the world. They seemed to be working mainly with the youth in the areas.

Later on I saw a program concerning "Engineers without Borders."

One of the many things they are doing is using their skills and money to get fresh and clean water to many people.

In both cases, individuals started this on their own and then formed an organization consisting of other professions willing to give of themselves and their money. They are making a big difference in the lives of people regardless of where they live in this world.

It seems to me that I have read somewhere that, in as much as you have done it unto one of these my brethren; you have done it unto me!

Hmmmm… Does this mean that each of us should do what we can to help people regardless of who they are or where they live?
