For you older folks, what you are about to read will not surprise you. You younger folks will get a glimpse into the future.

Have you seen my glasses, hearing aids, billfold, purse, car keys, and numerous other items? I know I laid them right there and now they are gone. What did you do with them? You didn’t touch them?

Well I certainly didn’t move them! Is today Tuesday or Wednesday? When is my doctor appointment? Did you take your pills? Did you get any money out of my billfold or purse?

When is so and so’s birthday? Did you phone our daughter? Do we have anything special going on today? I recognize that person’s face but what is their name? Did you remember to mail that letter? Do you have any money?

Oh folks, I guess the list could go on and on but I can’t remember when the deadline for this column is, or if there is one. However I do know that we are a lot happier if we can laugh at ourselves and enjoy the humor of this time in our lives.
