Let me tell you about

Folks, let me tell you about some of my former students.

First of all let me assure you that I am not going to take credit for their accomplishments. They are the ones that did the work, used their minds and their talents to help make them what they are today!

Some have held important positions in the military, government, businesses, some became doctors, nurses etc.

I also want to assure you that I am not overlooking those who became great parents and now grandparents. In fact these people may have accomplished the greatest job of them all!

Be that as it may I take pride when they tell me about their offspring.

I oft times wonder if something that I did or said contributed to their success no matter in what they accomplished. Being human I like to think that in some way perhaps, just perhaps this former teacher, in some small measure, did make a difference.

Folks, every teacher worth their salt hopes and prays that they do!

As this school year draws to a close I want to thank every teacher who has worked so hard to make a difference in their students’ lives!
