$2.4 million scratch-off ticket sold in Falls City

By Joe Baker

A scratch-off ticket that was sold to a Poth resident at the Fillin’ Station in Falls City proved to be a lucky ticket indeed.

It was confirmed recently by the Lottery Commission that the Pruski Family Trust will be in receipt of $2.4 million dollars by monthly amounts of $10,000 for the next 20 years.

Unlike the process with lottery tickets, the store that sells a winning scratch-off ticket does not share in the winnings.

But the folks at the local store in Falls City aren’t too disappointed.

Cindy Howell, manager of the Fillin’ Station said that they are delighted for Mr. Pruski’s good fortune.

"He is a regular customer and a good man," she said.
