Early voting for the upcoming constitutional amendment election and Karnes City ISD tax rollback election began at the county courthouse early voting room on October 22 and will continue through Friday, Nov. 2.

Voters who wish to vote by mail can call the County Clerk’s office at 780-3938 to request an application and/or a sample ballot.

Voting is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday during the early voting period. The last day that ballots can be mailed is Tuesday, Oct. 30.

Ballot boxes will be combined for the November 6 election as follows:

Karnes County Courthouse, Panna Maria, Helena, Karnes City City Hall and Coy City will all vote at the Karnes County Courthouse.

Cestohowa, Falls City and Hobson will all vote at the Falls City Diner.

Gillett will vote at the Gillett Baptist Church.

Kenedy City Hall, Choate, Lutheran Church, Catholic Church, Mexican Baptist Church will all vote at Kenedy City Hall.

Runge will vote at Runge VFW Hall.

Fashing Civic Center will have voting for the Karnes City ISD tax rollback election only.
