The Kenedy Rotary Club will present the Miss Karnes County Pageant on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 7 p.m. at the Kenedy High School Auditorium.

The festivities include the Little Mister and Miss Karnes County contest. Rotary members are inviting everyone to come out, have some fun and support the students.

The annual event raises scholarship funds for the youth in the Karnes County communities. The scholarships are awarded to students from Runge, Falls City, Karnes City and Kenedy schools. These scholarships are distributed to students when they enter college or vocational school.

Tobe Ricks, entertainment chairman, is proud to announce this year’s entertainers are John Wayne Schulz and Missy Pace.

"We are looking forward to a great program of fun and entertainment," Ricks said. "It is good to have our local musical talent returning to Kenedy."

Tickets for this event are $4 for adults and $1 for children and can be purchased from Rotary members or at the door.
