Local blood drives planned
Officials with the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center are reminding Karnes County residents that anyone 17 years of age weighing at least 110 pounds and in good general health may donate blood. Donors must present photo identification. For more information on these drives contact Tracy Sommer at 361-576 -3651. People may donate blood locally at one of these upcoming blood drives:
Wal-Mart of Kenedy blood Drive
Saturday, March 17; 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

First United Methodist Church Blood Drive
Sunday, March 18; 9:15 a.m. – 1 p.m.
In the semi-circle parking lot, 201 N. Esplanade, Karnes City
Karnes County Electric Blood Drive
