Early voting for runoff election continues through Friday

Runoff will determine Democrat nominee for Railroad Commissioner

Early voting continues through Friday, April 4 at 5 p.m. for the Democratic Railroad Commissioner race between Dale Henry and Mark Thompson. This is the only contested race in the Democratic run-off. There is no Republican run-off in Karnes County for April 8.

The voting boxes will be combined for the election as follows:

Voting at the Courthouse: Karnes City: Pct. No. 1, Courthouse; Pct. No. 2, Panna Maria; Pct. No. 8, Helena; Pct. No. 12, City Hall, Karnes City and Pct. No. 13, Coy City.

Voting at the Gillett Baptist Church: Pct. No. 13, Gillett.

Voting at the Kenedy City Hall: Pct. No. 4, City Hall, Kenedy; Pct. No. 9, Choate; Pct. No. 11, Lutheran Church; Pct. No. 14, Catholic Church and Pct. No. 15, Mexican Baptist Church.

Voting at the Runge VFW Hall: Pct. No. 5, VFW Runge.

Voting at the Falls City Diner: Pct. No. 6, CCD Building Cestohowa; Pct. No. 7, Falls City Diner and Pct. No. 10, Hobson Parish Hall.
