Police seek suspect in Guadalupe County stabbing case
Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect allegedly involved in a Guadalupe County stabbing. They have reason to believe the suspect may be currenly located in Karnes County.
On the morning of January 1, the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 200 block of Mud Track Lane off Highway 123 South in Seguin, for a stabbing.
The victim was found in the front yard of the residence and suffered from a stab wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Guadalupe County Justice of the Peace E. "Cass" Castellanos.
The investigation by the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Rangers has revealed that the victim is Ismael Araujo age 22 of Mud Track Lane.
Further investigation has led to a warrant for murder being issued for Juan Manuel Garcia (28). Garcia is described as a Hispanic male, 5 foot 7 inches tall, 145 pounds, black hair, brown eyes.
