Vandals have struck several businesses across Karnes County recently according to information from the Karnes County Sheriff’s Office.

On Feb. 10, between the hours of 3 a.m. and 6 a.m., three Falls City restaurants suffered broken windows as a result of the vandalism. Windows were broken at Las Palmas, The Palace and Shorty’s all on the same night.

On Feb. 17, window damage was done at the Citgo gas station in Falls City with what might have been a 22 caliber rifle or a ball bearing fired from a slingshot.

There have been other similar incidents of this kind of vandalism in Floresville, Karnes City and Kenedy recently.
