The Falls City Beavers ended their season this weekend with two losses to Brackett High School, 7-4 and 6-4.

The Beavers ended their season with a loss in the Area round of the playoffs and were Bi-district champions.

The team’s overall record was 12-9 (7-3 in district and 2-3 in the playoffs).

"We had a great season and I am extremely proud of them," said Coach Joshua Haws.

"It is the 1st time in ten years that the Beavers have advanced to the area playoffs.  The three seniors (Kyle Perna, Ray Urbanczyk and Ty Moy) all played a big part in our success and they will be missed.  Next year’s returners gained some valuable playoff experience and we are expecting big things for next season.  We will return seven starters and 11 of the 14 varsity players."
